If you are planning on going on one of those diving holidays then I will say before I go on that the likelihood of you being attacked by a shark is very small indeed but there are some sharks out there that have attacked more than others. Another point to make is that 9 times out of 10 the shark will not attack a human knowing they are human and will simply mistake the person as prey. Onto the list!
The Great White
This is the one that everyone seems to be afraid of and although most of them will not purposely hunt humans down they are one of the only species of sharks that love their unprovoked attacks however it would seem that a lot of the time it is to do with mistaken identity rather than just going after a human. Scientists feel that the reason Great Whites do not really go after divers is not just because they do not like human flesh but because humans are usually diving with a buddy and have the ability to escape. A great white will usually come in for a devastating blow and wait for their pretty to be weakened before returning which is why humans can escape.
The Tiger Shark
This shark is also high on the list of the amount of fatal attacks it causes on human beings. They are often found in shallow waters like harbours and sometimes even rivers so human contact is inevitable. It would seem that one of the biggest places for these types of attacks is Hawaii and this is because many people actually go looking for them as they believe the eyes of the shark are sacred.
The bull shark is possibly the one that people do not often think of when it comes to deadly sharks but it is dangerous because they hate people in their territory.
Do not let this put you off of shark diving because in most instances it is a perfectly safe thing to do, the best location I feel has to be red sea diving holidays.

Gwydir Castle
This castle is one of the best looking ones in Wales and it can be found in the lovely area of Snowdonia, it was built in 1365. Coetmore was the commander of the longbow men at the Battle Of Poiters. The castle was originally home to the Wynn baronets who were descendants of the Kings and Princes of Gwynedd.
After the War Of The Roses the castle was rebuilt by Meredith Wynn who was a strong supporter of King Henry VII. It was again refurbished in the 1540’s and was not touched again until 1828.
In 1989 the prince of wales opened the newly refurbished dining room from the 1640s.
Caerphilly Castle
The castle was buitl ver close to a site in which the Romans had built a fort in on 1268. This is actually the largest castle in all of Wales spanning a massive thirty acres of land. People would not go near this castle as it was built to show the power of the Normans and it did just that.
During both the 13th and the 14th century this castle was continually attacked and was almost taken completely when a force of ten thousand men tried to take it. The castles defences were somehow still intact.
The 15th century saw the castle kept in reasonable condition with no real refurbishments happening until the late 1700’s.

There is an excellent mass transit system that is affordable and easy to navigate. It is better not to bring your own car or rent one as the traffic can be rather severe as are the parking costs.
New York City is well connected to all the other East Coast urban areas through rail links and long distance bus services. Those flying in will arrive at one of three airports, of which La Guardia is the most convenient for Manhattan

If you are seriously considering taking one of those nice holidays then why not look into where and when? The thing is, it is has become very expensive to actually go away at the moment simply because the recession is hitting everyone rather hard. All inclusives can sometimes be nice but the often lead to having to hang around with people you really do not want to. If you are planning on going further then it is going to cost you lot more but then again your money is paying for a place that is very nice. Of course going to Africa on a safari is going to cost you a lot of money but it is worth the money to see the animals in the wild.

The city of York is found in Yorkshire (a county in England) and was, in the distant past, the capital of a kingdom equal to most of northern England. With such an ancient city it will not come as a great surprise to discover a massive collection of incredibly medieval buildings, however you may not expect the astounding sight of the Gothic medieval York Minster.
The first incarnation of York Minster was a humble construction made of wood in which King Edwin of Northumbria was, in the 7th century, baptised. It wasn’t until 1080 that the first substantial construction made of stone appeared on the site. Constructed by Thomas of Bayeux, a Norman Archbishop it was added to by Archbishop Roger who built a a south transept and a north transept. After many more alterations and additions the cathedral was complete and consecrated in the year 1472. Inside features the largest medieval stained glass window in the world. York has many other places to visit including; the National Railway Museum, the Jorvik Viking Centre, Barley Hall, the Roman Bath Museum, Fairfax House, York Dungeon and York Castle Museum.
As well as all of the incredible historic attractions mentioned earlier, the city of York is an exciting city in which to go out partying or enjoy the theatre, opera or live music. It that doesn’t excite you then you could visit a pub instead there are certainly plenty to choose from, to name but a few; Slug and Lettuce, The Junction Leeman Road, Old Star Inn, The Bluebell Inn and The Royal Oak, and, lastly, the Black Swan. Out of all the mentioned pubs the Black Swan is more than likely the most widely appealing with an excellent atmosphere and sometimes having live music.

Like many other UK cities you will find a huge variety of bed and breakfast in York ranging from cheap and cheerful guest houses to five star hotels. The Middlethorpe Hall hotel is just two miles from York city centre but gives superb bed and breakfast with private gardens, sauna, gym and steam room, and you can even get a massage. Located approximately 60 kilometres south of Queensland’s capital city of Brisbane, Tamborine Mountain is a volcanic plateau set within Australia’s Gold Coast hinterland.
An outpouring of lava from nearby Mount Warning – many millenia ago – created Tamborine Mountain’s lush, forested plateau which is approximately 8 km long by 5 km wide and now sits 600 metres above sea level.
The many attractions of the Mount Tamborine area and its picturesque villages include craft and antique shops, cafes and restaurants and numerous galleries which attract thousands of tourists every season.
This area is also known for its award-winning wineries with several offering tours, free tastings and affordable meals in beautiful surroundings. If you enjoy walking, nine National Parks within the Tamborine Mountain region await you. Shady walking tracks lead through magnificent subtropical rainforest and past breathtaking waterfalls, natural swimming holes and rock pools. Sun dappled picnic, BBQ and rest areas pepper the way and spectacular lookouts offer stunning views towards the ocean as well as to the West over the hinterland.
The Rainforest Discovery Skywalk is the latest Tamborine Mountain attraction and was completed in early 2009. Set on 30 acres of magnificent rainforest and alongside a tumbling creek, the Skywalk consists of an eco walking trail that leads to a 40m-long platform set 30m above the rainforest canopy. A short drive away, another popular attraction are the Glow-worm Caves that offer guided underground sightseeing tours through two spectacular man made caves filled with thousands of glow worms.
The rich volcanic soil of the area supports a diversity of horticulture which can be enjoyed on nature walks as well as by visiting the local Botanic Gardens. The bounty of many residents’ gardens is also on display at several roadside stalls that abound with kiwi fruit, rhubarb, avocados and macadamia nuts quaintly displayed around an ‘Honesty Box’.
This small plateau also thrives with animal and bird life. Platypus, green tree frogs, scrub turkeys, wallabies and of course koalas form part of the Mountain’s varied range of wildlife and in the morning, the calls of lorikeets, kookaburras and lyrebirds can be heard.
The state of Queensland is known as Australia’s ‘Sunshine State’. On Tamborine Mountain, you can enjoy abundant sunshine year-round but without the heat and humidity that the more northerly parts of Queensland often endure.
The surfing beaches, shopping malls, theme parks (including Warner Brothers and Sea World) plus many other Gold Coast attractions are a comfortable 40-minute drive from Mount Tamborine while Brisbane is one hour away, making the Mountain the ideal ‘base-camp’ location from which to explore south-east Queensland.
The nearest international airport is Brisbane, however national travellers often land at Coolangatta (Gold Coast) airport, a mere 45-minute drive from Tamborine Mountain.
