Okay So I after thinking about the cheapest way for where to live and what to live in to be able to train and work part time, I decided to buy an older RV price ranging 3000-4000$ trying to get the best for my money. I found a couple for sale and was wondering if they are selling at a good price.

My wife and I recently moved down here from Washington, and miss being able to drive an hour in any direction and be out in the woods with nobody around for miles. We’re looking for an area where we can just go and set up our tent, let the dogs run, do some target practice with our guns, and be alone. So far all we’ve experienced is campgrounds where we have to worry about the big RVs "camping" in the spots on either sides of us.

I moved here recently. Most of the places that I have looked around at here are heavily geared towards RVs. I know I can tent camp at these places but I would rather go somewhere a little more like a campground than a resort.

My family and I are planning to go on a tour of the states. We know the destinations and routes we’re going to take. Instead of renting hotels or motels, we would like to rent an RV to save money on sleeping. We will be flying to Boston. How much would an RV fitting 4 people cost per day? Also, how much fuel do RVs burn and what are the fuel prices in the states? Thank you all in advance.

I hate living in one place and I always wanted to travel. I am thinking about getting a RV or van or something to travel in. I will have 2+ people with me and will travel for a long time. I know Myrtle Beach, NC/SC is really busy in the summer so I know that is one place I will stay for a few months. I would like to know about how much it cost in gas to travel in an RV like class C ones or the converted vans. Also places you can stay in them, sites to see, how much different things will cost us, and so on. I know there are alot of people out there that live in their RVs and travel and I would like to hear different things about their expiriences and things. PLEASE help me out in deciding the best things to do.

I am very inexperienced with RVs, so I need lots of help. I am thinking of buying a RV because me and my family love road trips. I think it would be a good way to come together and connect the family. I need something that will sleep 5-8 people comfortably. Here are some questions:
1) Have you had good experience with a RV? Was it worth owning one?
2) Should I get a trailer(I don’t have a truck, but I could buy one) or mobile RV?
2A) If you said trailer, what kind?
2B) If you said mobile RV, what kind?
3) What is a good budget when looking for a RV?
4) What RVs(year, make, model) would you suggest?
5) What is a good website I can go to for RV sales?
Money is not a issue in my family but I don’t know if it is worth spending so much money on a RV. I was thinking ,000-75-000 budget maybe? Is that a good budget? I’ve been mostly looking at A-class and C-class mobile RVs. Or should I get a truck and a trailer? I don’t know, I think it would be hard to haul a trailer and it wouldn’t be as comfortable as traveling in a RV(while the car is in motion). I’ve been looking at the C-class, but now I’m thinking maybe it has a trashy design? I’m not sure. Are there any stereotypes out there with C-class? A-class is huge, like a bus. Which would be the best for me? I need something that’s practical, can sleep 5-8 comfortably, and easy to drive for a vehicle this size.
Any help would be much appreciated.
Thank You

I wanted to ask do anyone know a good spot in the Tennessee Valley or to do primitive camping ( tent) with my family? It doesn’t matter if I have to pay or not. As long as it is near fishing and close to being secluded.Planning to go during the first week in September. I live in Huntsville Alabama. Thanks.
Or a good place in a wooded area where there isnt a bunch of RVs.

We reserved a 26 foot Diesel Class C RV for a vacation in September from a RV Sales/Rental company. We reserved this is February, I went on their website today and they no longer have that Diesel RV available. They have a 22 foot Class C Diesel but it is small and does not have a full bed in it, it only has a bunk bed and a sofa sleeper, it would be too small for our family of 5. They have a 38 foot Class A RV that is a Diesel that has the full bed and would accommodate our family. The price of our rental is 0 more than the price of the 22 foot and 0 less than the 38 foot. Which do you think they will substitute? Diesel RV rental was at a higher rate and deposit than the non-diesel RVs, they do have a 26 foot RV available but it is not a Diesel engine. Here are the terms of the rental contract for availability:
"If for any reason beyond our control the reserved vehicle is not available at pick-up, we will substitute a vehicle of equivalent value or higher rated vehicle at no additional cost. We make no guarantee that a specific model year will be available at the time of contract. If a lower rated vehicle is offered and accepted, our responsibility is limited to refund the difference between the vehicles."
I called the RV company about it and they said someone would call me back next week to discuss the issue. I am curious what others think they will do. I do not feel we should have to take the smaller RV due to the fact that we reserved the larger one with a full bed for the extra room for our family, we also reserved a Diesel because it gets far better gas mileage! Opinions, please?

Im looking to go camping with a few friends in the new england area preferably in massachusetts, connecticut, and Rhode Island. We don’t need anything excessive just clean bathrooms and some water. We want to use tents not RVs. Also we’re looking to party a bit, nothing out of control but also don’t want to go to to a family campground and disturb people. We are also under 21 so this can cause issues with reservations. Let me know of any ideas please!

These are the burning questions I have about class C motor homes.
1 Why are they all van based? I know that there are a few truck based around but why not more? It seems that a truck would have less interior noise,be easier to service and have more torque and horsepower than the van even with the same motor and trucks have a higher GVW than vans do too. They could at least make a truck optional.
2 Why don’t I see many Chevy RVs? I see them every once and a while but not a lot. Is it because Chevy only has a 6.0 liter V8 motor while Ford has the V10?
3 How would I get a class C motor home with 4 wheel drive and a diesel motor? It seems that the only way you could do that is to buy the vehicle yourself then turn it over to the RV factory right ?

One of the fun things families can do is to go camping together. Camping with an RV is one of the way that they can do. But before you head out and go out to the great outdoors just like any trip you have to plan. In this article, we are going to discuss the things you have to plan for the RV trip.
Of course, the first thing you should do is to plan on your destination. Camping location will be based on the things that everyone wants to do. You should consider first the kind of activities you want to do. Like for example, you’d like to perform activities in the water like fishing or swimming. You need to select a place with accessible water. choosing your destination is much easier if you decide what you want to do.
All you have to do then is to make sure that you have everything you need.. It is better to make and check all the list that you will need after you get it together. This will help you not forget important things like soap or toothpaste. You will get an idea of the things you will need for your other camping needs and food.
In the end, you should make a reservation for your destination. Camping with an RV is harder than setting up a tent. RV is very big, so make sure that the place have enough space for you to park it.
If you do these things you will be sure to have a great camping trip with the family. here is some information if you want more details on where to get an RV.
so next time you go camping and you need an RV see us at San Diego RV rentals. You are surely going to be able to find an RV at our Mission Bay RV rentals. Where camping will be easy with ourChula Vista RV rentals.

I want to go camping this weekend but I don’t know where to go. This is what I am looking for. Somewhere in upstate New York, Pennsylvania, New Jersey or anywhere else not to far from NYC. I want to go tent camping and I am looking for something secluded, meaning I don’t want to be at a campground with other people and RVs, I want just a random place in the woods where it will be just me and my friends. And it would be nice if they have a river or lake nearby.

My husband grew up vacationing throughout the country in a RV. He and his family love it. I’ve been on a couple of trips with them, and I enjoyed it. My husband would like us to purchase a RV, but we know that we need to try it alone to see if I it’s worth the investment for me. Does anyone know where we can rent one in Louisiana? Also, does anyone have any tips for vacationing in RVs?

Are there any RVs that a 6’2 person would hit his head against the ceiling or doorway in any type of rv?
