www.pedatarvcenter.com What you want to look for is that all plastic components are not dry, rotted, and is in place. What happens if something on the roof is missing, like a lid to the sewer valve, is debris will go down in there and possibly clog up your tanks. So you want to make sure all caps are replaced. The next thing to look for is cracks in your ceiling; this can cause a potential leak area. So what you want to do is re-seal them. Clean them off, and use the recommended sealant by the manufacture. If it is a rubber roof, you will use rubber roof sealant. So be sure to clean off the old sealant, and wipe it down with a rag. You don’t have to remove the cracked sealant but you need to get it cleaned or else the new sealant will not stick. Once it is all cleaned up you can begin to apply your sealant. Cover the area fairly well, then take a brush and smooth and spread the sealant out over all the cracks. Just continue this process on all the cracks you see. The next thing you want to do is look at the condition of the rubber roof, you can continue to re-seal cracks on your roof. But once you have done this too many times and you start to actually get tears, you should then think about replacing the complete roof. It’s a costly repair, but if it should leak it will end up costing you more to replace the ceiling and all the wood at that time. Once again check all components on the roof and make sure they are all sealed down tight. When you are checking the ceiling
