I drove it years back in a motorhome, had a terrific time. Now my sons and I are toying with the the idea of riding it next summer, perhpas carrying a small tent and camping gear. Any thoughts, suggestions, ideas? Thanks.
I am really struggling to find a good place to camp this summer. My plan is to rent a 25-30 ft motorhome for a 3-5 day vacation. I am wondering if you can help!
Here are my requirements:
* Should accommodate a motorhome
* Water and electrical hook-ups
* Location within 3 hours of Minneapolis MN (preferably nothern Minnesota or Wisconsin)
* Campground should be on a Lake with access to good beach swimming (for a 4 year old)
* If no beach, Waterslide or robust pool area
Ideally, would love to find a campground with wooded sites right on the water. Beach and Toddler swimming is a requirement. Any recommendations would be awesome! Even if you have stayed at a specific site that you would recommend.

Are you considering taking a motorhomes break? Some say that a motorhome trip is one of the best experiences you could have. There’s nothing quite like exploring a place on the road while getting to sleep in comfort wherever you end up. However, when you’re packing for a trip like this the last thing you need is stress, especially when you want to keep the load as low in weight as possible. This guide outlines some top tips on packing lightly and practically for all kinds of motorhome holidays.
Begin by packing your clothes. When going on a holiday in motorhomes try to avoid taking too many clothes. Although it can be great fun to get dressed up in different outfits everyday you must think practically. This means taking clothes that can be layered and that can cope with all weathers. For instance, for a summer trip, ensure you include light waterproofs in case of rain.
Only take the essential toiletries you need for bathroom use. If space is a concern, take travel sized toiletries that will last as long as your trip. If you are taking a family trip, try and make sure you all use the same toiletries to save bringing too much with you.
It is always worth taking toys, games and other leisure equipment to fully enjoy your experience. This will keep the entire family happy and occupied. Brackets tend to be used to attach bikes and other large items to motorhomes.
Health and safety must be a priority for your holiday so you should always pack for emergencies. Take a highly-stocked first aid kit as well as good means for outside communication. Trips in motorhomes are a lot of fun, however they can also be the cause of some unexpected situations, so be prepared.

We just got a new motorhome and I’d like to know about some of the better RV campgrounds in southern Nevada or northern Arizona. I’m especially interested in places that have full hookups, great scenary, maybe some good hiking trails, lots of activities and clean facilities.
