There are many people who go away on their summer holidays but have they thought about a winter break I wonder. Well, it would seem a lot of people do actually go on winter holidays each year but the real thing to look at is why these people go at this time of year and do they find it much better going on holiday to a destination such as Dubai in the winter rather than the summertime?

Rubbing It In
When it comes to summer vacations you may end up feeling a bit left out if you’ve elected to go on a winter break because your friends are going on holiday in the height of the summer but the fact is, when they get back, you are still looking forward to yours and you can really rub it in with them. Make sure everyone knows that while their holiday stories are fading quicker than their tans, you are heading for a warm climate in the middle of the cold, wet, windy winter and you are going to be hitting the beaches while every-one else has to remember to wrap up warm.

The Weather
Lets face it, the chances are that the winter weather at home is going to be very bad indeed but when fly off to a tropical country, you can rest assured it should be great. It makes sense, why shouldn’t you stay home in the summer then go abroad in the winter when it is cold and bleak? It makes common sense to stay home in the summer and leave in the winter; examples of the many places you might like to think about include Thailand or Barbados. These destinations are popular all year round but in the winter they are a little less busy and a little cooler than in the summer so make sure you look into these locations and think about not taking your next break during high season.

of course the thing to remember when it comes to this is that you need to be having a good time when you go on holiday so it does not matter what time you go as long as you do!

if you have not been on vacation in the winter before then do it because it is a very different experience to the summer

Some people want to feel like a celebrity, even if it is for a couple of days, so why not give one of these holidays a go! Celebrities enjoy holidays just like us “Normy’s” do, and they even enjoy a holiday that we even embark on, although they do enjoy a lot of luxury. So do you want to know where the celebrities go, then you could book a holiday and chances are, you may bump into your role model!

So where are these places, where can we find a celebrity? Let’s start at the Caribbean, somewhere that you would expect to find these celebrities! St Lucia is probably the most beautiful of all the islands. If any celebrities would like to relax for a couple of weeks, then this is the place, in some very pricey hotels. Interestingly enough, one good example of a celebrity that visited recently is Amy Winehouse. The best thing about this is that she stayed in St Lucia for a while, and was happy for people to come up to her and chat. She interacted with the locals and tourists, which was a fun experience for all.

Now the Caribbean – Again, and this time we go east to Barbados. Barbados is a favourite holiday location of one of the princes of the British sovereignty, Prince Harry quite enjoys a vacation here. Barbados offers everything a party going celebrity would need for a week or so. This party island “Barbados” gives everybody the chance to go out on the St Lawrence mile strip, for as long as you want!

The next location is probably the most expensive and the highest in quality. This is a big honeymoon location for the famous types of people. People like Tom Cruise and Katie Holmes headed here for two weeks after they got married, and Beyonce and Jay Z came here for their honeymoon. This is for spa treatment and those that like to just stroll across the seaside.

Which of these holidays best suits you, and who would you like to meet, would you fancy Maldives holidays with the stars or St Lucia holidays, maybe even Barbados holidays are more for you!
