Planning a road trip from San Jose to Grand Canyon via Death Valley. What speed do most of the RVs keep during long distance travel?

    G’day,

As someone who has followed RVs, I would suggest you do the speed limit plus 1 MPH. This way you won’t be holding up anyone.

As a courtesy to 4-wheelers, do slow down when one passes you. It really cuts down the needed passing distance.

A road trip you might consider is Rt. 66 for one way of your trip.
