I would like to experience the RV lifestyle without actually buying an RV.

    I would suggest you got to a local RV dealer and talk about a Lease Plan, just to rent on is more then buying one, so get that word out of the question, rent is between 100 to 175 per day, you may even check out http://www.craigslist.com in your area and get one cheaper then a dealer

    I work in a gas station, and I can tell you that it costs about $200 to fill up an empty RV. and gas is only expected to get higher :(
