How much is it to rent an RV?

My family and I are planning to go on a tour of the states. We know the destinations and routes we’re going to take. Instead of renting hotels or motels, we would like to rent an RV to save money on sleeping. We will be flying to Boston. How much would an RV fitting 4 people cost per day? Also, how much fuel do RVs burn and what are the fuel prices in the states? Thank you all in advance.

100 a day for a small one. They get about 7 miles to the gallon. I have no idea what gas runs on the east coast, but it does not matter anyway, it alters constantly.

You will pay about 40 a night to park it and hook it up to water and power.

This is an example, but for 1 week, and 700 miles, its over 800 dollars.
