How much does it typically cost in USA to rent an RV lot?

I was thinking of living out of a mobile home or rv (something small thats driveable) so I can park in different towns and rent a lot to stay and then leave the next day. Anybody know how much these typically cost?

Greg’s Response: It will vary considerably based upon a number of factors.  For example:

  • What are your needs?  Electricity, water, sewage hook-up for just a dump station
  • Public campgrounds are usually less costly than private
  • Some states allow overnight stays in Interstate rest areas without charge
  • Some campgrounds have off-season rates
  • Often, air conditioning or internet hook-up will cost extra

On the lakes in Oklahoma they charge $15.00 per day. This includes electricity, water and a place to dump your sewerage when you leave. The lakes here are so pretty you will want to stay more than just one day. Have Fun!!!!

If you are over 65 you can get the spaces for 1/2 price!!!
