The DWR Airstream travel trailer is a tribute to classic modern design, but it’s not only a potential museum piece, it’s designed to be part of your life. Hitch up and drive wherever you want to go—the middle of nowhere (Joshua Tree? Canyonlands?), or the middle of Manhattan, where you can now see a vintage Airstream in the Museum of Modern Art. Drive all night, or unhitch and linger: the DWR Airstream is designed for both. Modern American and European designers were tapped to provide the dramatic flooring, the engineered textiles for the dinette cushions and window treatments, as well as Italian laminate countertops and perforated metal accents. The interior also includes a high quality Sony sound system and flat screen TV, and optional wireless external speaker. The DWR Airstream is a mere 16 feet, 7 inches in length. Although compact, the efficiency of design is simple, yet incredibly functional. The exterior features Airstream’s famously sleek aluminum skin design and custom pull-out awning. Looks like it is out of a dream! great video guys!
Great looking Airstream!
Will u make a vid of the new PanAmerican? Please do!!
We are already one step ahead, it has been on youtube for a couple of weeks now.
like it
I want one!
Alot in a little space but then it is Airsteam.
How much does one of these cost? And whats the minimum horsepower do you need to tow it.
nice… but not $50,000 nice….
also i wish it DIDNT have a toilet… the extra space would be much better used as a pantry/storage
This looks amazing. Could you imagine installing a satellite dish where the rabbit ear antenna is and hook it up to a small TV? Would be great for freeview and FTA. I’d love one of these.
oh yea? have you ever gone to a music festival with outhouse style bathroom facilities…I’ll take the private toilet thanks & keep the pantry in the tow vehicle.
A clock, a coat rack, some plates, and a bed are nice.
But not $50k worth of nice.
I think they’re so expensive because they last forever and don’t look like FEMA trailers.
@AlkyStyles
Sure, if you spend your entire lifetime going to “music festivals” instead of working, then this would be a great trailer to buy.
So you’re saying you’re going to spend $50k on this trailer?
you sure thats not 12′?
