Patagonia r4 Jacket

Like all businesses Patagonia started as a small company that made Alpine Climbing Tools to begin with. Today they have emerged as one of the world’s main players in outdoor gears and everything to do with the outdoors adventures, hiking, mountaineering and much more, outdoor gear such as Footwear, Apparel, Hiking Backpacks for all outdoor enthusiasts today. Patagonia is also zealous about the outdoors and all environmental endeavours that assist to preserve the perfect beauty that is the great outdoors. Patagonia donates their Services and 1% of all Patagonia sales, go to grassroots environmental groups working consistently hard to preserve our beautiful outdoors.

In this specific article I am going to review details of one of Patagonia apparel range of clothing, the Patagonia r4 jacket. Both these style jackets come in men and women’s styles so first, the Patagonia r4 women’s jacket. The Women’s R4 Jacket is made from thick velour fleece, combined with a stretchy windproof laminate for the warmth you need in cold conditions. Paragonia’s warmest fleece provides high-loft 7.4-oz R2® (Polartec® Thermal Pro® polyester that’s 40% recycled) on the inside and a velour fleece face (13.5-oz Polartec Windbloc® polyester), with a stretchy windproof laminate inserted between. This will keep you at best mobile and very warm. With the lack of shoulder seams this allows hiking pack wearing comfort, and the one chest and two high-placed hand warmer pockets (above the harness-line) close with invisible zippers with a Draw cord hem.

Patagonia Recycle
Patagonia recycles unusable second quality fabrics and worn out garments into polyester fibres to produce many of our clothes.

The Men’s Patagonia lightweight r4 jacket. Patagonia Lightweight R4 Jacket is made from warm, durable micro fleece, combined with a full-stretch laminate for windproof protection in cold conditions. Principally all of the awesome benefits detailed above for the women’s r4. However now I’m going to write of my own experience and opions with this jacket. This is in my opinion is hands down, the go for jacket. It may illustrate as a bit of a technical piece of apparel clothing, combining light-to-mid insulation with a windproof layer and an amazing scratch resistance, and I enjoy wearing lightweight nylon for wind or outdoors resistance. People in general can automatically assume or believe lightweight means fragile but not in this case. The men’s r4 lightweight jacket is astonishingly durable and versatile. It breathes well for a windproof piece. For me you can’t really go wrong with this jacket piece that will block wind, wick moisture, and insulate in reality very well. Ok so really at the end of the day for lightweight use where of course it’s not going to really match up against more heavy duty clothing for extreme conditions, but we’re not talking extreme conditions here so it’s a great mid layer piece to enjoy many outdoors activities.

Excellent colours come available for consumer’s choice for us fashion conscious or just choosy over colours. I even just grab my Patagonia r4 Jacket for casual out and about jacket wear, looks great!
