The technology behind Giant mountain bikes make them one of the best brands in the world. Their models feature heavily in the world class competitions around the world with mountain bikers on every continent using Giant bikes during competition, training and their leisure riding. But biking beginners can use Giant mountain bikes as well as professionals. Their range of kids bikes suit every level of ability.

Giant offer two ranges of children’s bikes. One range is designed for little children who have never ridden before. For children that have never ridden a bike before, there is a range for them. For kids with a bit more experience there is a range of Giant bikes designed for fun and transport.

First Bike
First time riders can choose from three bikes depending on how big/old they are. A tricycle in blue, pink, red or silver is designed for optimum safety and is called the L’il Giant. The training wheels help with balance and there is also a long pole that parents can hold onto to stop the bike from running away with your little one on it. For little girls there is the PUDD’N range which has two bikes for different levels. There is a lovely basket on the front, removable training wheels and 16” wheels to help first time riders with their confidence. The smaller junior size features stabilisers and smaller 12” wheels. Animator is the final model in the first time riders range. This is the boy’s version of the larger bike and is painted in darker colours than PUDD’N without the basket. There is a junior and original sized version available in the Animator range.

Sport Bikes
The MTX and Taffy ranges are Giant’s bikes for children with more riding experience. The MTX comes in a 125 and 225 series with the 125 having 20” wheels and 6 speed gears. 24” wheels and 18 speed gears are used on the 225. Both models use a suspension fork and Alux aluminium technology frames. The Taffy is similar to the MTX but with girl riders in mind throughout the design. Again there is a 225 and 125 version with 225 having bigger wheels and more gears than the 125.

The quality and craftsmanship behind Giant Mountain Bikes will show in your improved performance. You will like your child using a bike because it keeps them fit and they will have so much fun on them.
