Winter sun and cheap hotels in Majorca

For many years, sun seeking Brits have been flocking to Majorca for a sunshine fix. During the peak season months of June to September, the beaches, bars and many cheap hotels in Majorca are filled with enthusiastic holidaymakers. The tourists who enjoy the island’s many offerings are not just limited to UK travellers either. The King and Queen of Spain themselves were among the visitors this summer when they stopped on the island for their regular Balearics holiday. There’s no doubt that the summer months can be exhilarating – particularly if you decide to get involved in the party scene in Magaluf – but it can also seems a bit too hectic at times. So for a quieter break in the sun a winter visit is the perfect solution.
