Cheap Class C RV (or similar to it) prices?

Posted: April 15th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: RV Camping | Tags: , , , , , , , , , , | 2 Comments »

Okay So I after thinking about the cheapest way for where to live and what to live in to be able to train and work part time, I decided to buy an older RV price ranging 3000-4000$ trying to get the best for my money. I found a couple for sale and was wondering if they are selling at a good price.

Is it better to rent an RV or to sleep in hotels when traveling across the USA?

Posted: April 15th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: RV Camping | Tags: , , , , | 5 Comments »

We want to start our trip in Michigan, go down to Texas, west to Arizona and back to Michigan in 2 weeks. I have never used and RV before and I don’t know if it’s better to rent one or to sleep in hotels driving with a car. I have a 2 years old child and I am looking for the most stress free option.

Demonstrating my off road camping trailer

This is an off road trailer I built to tow behind my Samurai and Jeep. I usually put a few totes with my camping supplies on it, and fill the toolbox with my tools. I have towed it all over OR, WA, and CA on all of the Oregon Backcountry Discovery routes; it has always worked perfectly. It is amazing how useful it is for those week long backcountry camping trips.

Living in a Class C or a class A rv?

Posted: April 4th, 2011 | Author: | Filed under: RV Camping | Tags: , , , , | 1 Comment »

Hi! I was wanting to live in an RV and dont have much money…I looked at class A’s from the 80s that are under 5 grand and claim to work well, but i am suspectful…The class C’s however are the same price and seem like they would be easier and cheaper to maintain…..Which one is better? (Space isnt really an issue) Also, I plan to drive it around a lot since I wont have a car.
