The practicality of this tip is due to the steel wool lighting, igniting even when damp or wet. This tip is not meant to replace the traditional lighter or match, but to add a reliable option to a necessity … especially in a dire situation.

where do you get steel wool?
@jimmytangg
Hardware stores, paint/stain supply stores… sometimes even a grocery store.
@tekknorat you are actually soooo stupid.
@laxativz Really? How did you came to that conclusion? Judging by comments on your channel, you are too smart for me, Right? You aren’t worthy of spending time arguing.
@pete5668 hahahahaha ur so damn right dude hahahahaa
@jimmytangg you get it from steel lamb …..
@jimmytangg your mother use it in the kitchen to clean dirty pans
how long till the battery runs out mate?
@ilgopeds4378
That’s a really great question. I’m not sure. I’m assuming it won’t last very long. Enough to start many fires.
Excellent video.
Thats really cool, useful to know as well.
Wow that’s awesome, I’m going to try it now lol.
@VinceXNoir666
*use caution*
You didn’t hear this from me.. but if you stretch the steel wool out, light it with the battery, then start swinging the lit steel wool in a circular fashion…. the outcome has a spectacular man-made pinwheel firework effect.
me done that so many times
@fatherPANIC lol use caution …lol
shhyyt man instead of fuckin lighters and matches am bringing that shit to school =]
does the battery need to be charged?
@darthboy7882
Fully charged = No
A charge = Yes
@tekknorat im sorry but if you can listen he didnt say its for survival he said its for if you want to easily start a fire quickly when camping idiot
@Wolf23248 yes, it’s very easy to find steel wool and battery, like I have millions of them lying around, just reach out and gra one of each component. I bet he can get all the pussies in the hood while showing this method. LOL. It’s all about coolness not functionality/availability.
why would u take a battery and steelwol, a lighter less expensive and twice as small
can you use wires ??
whats steel wol??
@AndreasDreher69 It doesn’t look as cool when you’re out camping with your buddies.
1) Hold your breath.
2) Copy all of these steps.
3) Go to two other video.
4) Paste it in the comments.
If you can do all of this without breathing you’re a good pot smoker
