I’m going on a school camp in a couple of months does anyone know any tips or products to bring with me for hair and Hygiene because we can’t wash all week (they need to light because we’re carrying heavy packs). It’s also very cold at night and super hot in the day.(My hair goes super oily on day after I wash it).

Wow, what kind of stupid camp doesn’t let you shower for a week. I’d say stack up on some dry shampoo (made specially for oily hair, not liquid shampoo. You can get it as a spray and just spray it on the roots or hair and it evaporates the oil and gives volume) and buy a lot of perfume and scents to keep you’re stink away lol. If you might get you’re period, make sure to get the ones that block out smell. If I were you, I just wouldn’t go. Kind of ridiculous if you ask me.

I am going to assume you are a girl because of your name……..

Spray deodorant (NOT stick, it can melt) and dry shampoo. If you get near a water source, you could lather up quickly with bar soap (and you could just wash your pits and such). Bring a few washcloths for a quick wash if you get near water.

Oh gosh, like one mentioned, I hope you don’t begin your period. If you do, be prepared. Tampons because they take up no space at all and pads for night (if you use tampons that is). Take some fem. spray for "there" so it wont mix in with sweat and smell 1000 times worse. Even if you are really far away from your period, take some with you anyway. Some other girl might start hers…

Perfumes…stay away from them. They are useless. You will smell regardless. If you do want SOMETHING, bring a small thing of body mist that has a very light smell like cotton or sea breeze. Its light and airy and might help your tent mates to sleep at night.

A small scented candle is a good thing too. Again, keep it light. Light it at night for a little bit before you sleep. It will help your tent not smell so bad….

Try using a dry shampoo, or baby powder. This will help soak up some of the oil and keep hair looking clean. Also, try using body wipes or baby wipes on your skin.

Maybe some wet-wipes for quick-wash-downs on your body…deodorant and scented body sprays and lotions.

For your hair, get a bottle of dry shampoo to spray on your roots and brush through.
