I’m not sure where your at But I’m in Missouri, and them clams you have there look real small. I’m use to seeing clams the size of your hand or so. But as long as they taste good, enjoy your meal.
thanks for sharing your knowledge, and glad you friended me, Id love to hang out with you in the bush sometime, take care, keep on living brother
Ive had em crack, and I know they can explode, according to folks, but aint never had one do it too bad, stay away from big rocks, porous rocks, and tight spaces (lodges)
the problem here is when he cooked the clams in to the boiling water. the water turned to milky dirt and when you heat the clams, the clams open and the all dirt gonna go inside. not a clean way to cooked ur clams

Just for general info……..If you have limpets on your coastal shores, they are edible and safer to eat than clams/mussels because they are ‘grazers’ and not filter feeders.
google ‘limpet’ to learn more about them, Thanks Tim for some excellent videos

Could you just put the clams on hot coals or is this the best way?
