Anyone got tips on building a Killstreak in Black Ops?

I have a 1.7 K/D but I can’t build up a decent Killstreak. I usually get stopped around my 3rd or 4th kill. I don’t camp. Tips anyone?
I wanna get to killstreaks to where I can use 7 or higher.

    You can either camp in a spot ( not very typical spots like the two story’s on firing range because people always throw grenades up there) or you can stay in one place get a kill or two then move which is pretty effective.

    My killstreak is RCXD, Napalm Strike, and then Mortar Team.
    But then again I do have a 2.45 K/D ratio and I am the best there is. Just saying.

    well spyplane care package and attack chopper work well for me but care package kills dont count as kills for your streak so be careful and whie your chopper is in the air clean out the buildings or the outskirts for the guys trying to shoot it down
