We’re prepared to camp or stay in the cheapest hotels, and eat basic food. This is part of an overland trip from Malawi to South Africa. Many thanks for any assistance. I’d really love to hear from anyone who’s done this!

Hi , I am a travel agent in South Africa. Meals you looking at about R30 – R50 per person for a good meal which is about 4 – 7 USD. Accommodation about USD 20 – 30 for budget or B&B places. Safari activities are pretty expensive here. Transportation you would either have to higher a car whic is about USD 33 per day , the best way to travel. We dont have very good public transportation. Alternatively you should do a guided or coach tour. Let me know if you need prices you can e-mail me on info@southtiptravel.com
