Does anyone know any camping recipes that involve marshmallows…other than s’mores? I’ve also heard about banana boats, and I’m thinking about it.

Simple marshmallow camping recipes that involve roasting the marshmallow(s) over a campfire, please!
or at least some other way to melt the marshmallow…

Bring the rice krispies and after ya fire up a few (well, ok, a lot of ) marshmallows stir it all in. (The normal recipe calls for butter but don’t know if you want to deal with melting that over a fire.)

warm up a tortilla, place cut up marshmallows, pieces of chocolate ( your fave ) and some coconut on to the tortilla. Wrap in foil and place on grill. After about 5 minutes check to see if all is melted together. Let cool and enjoy! You could even do snickers bite size and some peanut butter…It really is all about being creative. Any thing out doors is gonna be good!

I don’t usually use measurements when I cook, but here are the ingredients for a delicious summer salad:
Canned mixed fruit of choice (you can use fresh too, if you’re motivated enough to do the chopping)
    sour cream
    cool whip
    coconut
    marshmallows
    Mix well, refrigerate and serve

    Roasting marshmallows recipe:
Stick jumbo marshmallow on a wire coat hanger and float over fire. Rotate until brown.
