Who caught the fish, me or my cousin? [Funny story]?

So we were camping last year, fishing on a small dock at our friend’s camp site. My cousin went back to our camp site to get some food, and he left his pole, still cast out and baited. It was just laying there and I was still fishing when his pole started moving and fell in the water! I reached in and pulled it out just before it completely went under, reeled it in, and there was a big fish at the end! So did I catch it, or my cousin? Lol

    whether you baited the line or not, whether it was your pole or your cousin’s is not important…you did reach in and pull it out, that means you caught it.
