Can anyone recommend a good overnight canoe trip in Germany or France?

We will bring our own camping gear but need to rent canoes. We will be traveling mostly by train.
I loved kayaking while living in Europe. For my opinion, one of the most beautiful regions in France is called
” Ardèche ” Just google Ardeche for Pictures. It is just so beautiful there. I’ve never experienced anything more peaceful and relaxing than being in my Kayak surrounded by the beautiful nature there.
There a many campsites were you can rent a Kayak. During the summer months the Ardeche is easy for beginners but not boring. I would recommend at least a 2 Day Kayak Trip (most tourists only take a 1 day trip) so that you can really enjoy the nature without getting disturbed.
The rental businesses will set up an date an point and come an pick you and your Kayak’s up (or only the Kayak – it’s up to you)
