There are 2 state parks in southeastern Wisconsin that we like a lot, Kettle Moraine, and Bong.

Out around Rheinlander is really nice and you can go into town ect. I think its Crandon (near Rheinlander) that has a big festival too. Not so sure of the exact data, you’ll have to look into it.
