The night of broken glass, krystallnacht, was Nov.9-10,1938. Germany didn’t invade Poland until Sept. 1939 and the first concentration camp in Poland, Majdanek became operational in July 1941. However there had been concentration camps in Germany since 1933 including Dachau and Birchenwald and Germany had already occupied Czechoslovakia since March 1939 so it is likely that some Czech. Jews had already been sent to the camps in Germany before Poland had been invaded. So somewhere in that timeframe, Non-German Jews had probably been sent to the camps.

    Holocaust Timeline.

    1938 -
March 12/13 – Nazi troops enter Austria, which has a population of 200,000 Jews, mainly living in Vienna. Hitler announces Anschluss (union) with Austria.

In March – After the Anschluss, the SS is placed in charge of Jewish affairs in Austria with Adolf Eichmann establishing an Office for Jewish Emigration in Vienna. Himmler then establishes Mauthausen concentration camp near Linz.

Nov 9/10 – Kristallnacht – The Night of Broken Glass.

I would say that Iron Mike has the factual information for that. I would also add that the so called "success" of the Nazis would not have been possible without the help that Hitler received from others. Germans and Europeans quickly dismiss fascism and antisemitism as forms of hatred that were somehow brought to life by Hitler, were soley his fault, and disappeared after his so-called death.
Jews had been put to death and tortured long before Hitler was born. He was an elected official in Germany. The Germans loved Hitler and his hatred of the Jews was embraced by the majority of the German people. In every single European country the Nazis invaded, there was a group of people who willingly cooperated with helping the Nazis and helped to inform on their fellow Jewish neighbors to turn them into the Nazis.
What we must remember is that any country on this earth could be turned in to a Nazi Germany. As long as countries are dominated by social groups that believe they are superior to one and other, there will always be a type of fertilization for fascism to start again.
In the USA, many Americans are angry because we now have a black President. Why should whites be subjected to a black commander and chief who is inferior to them? Hitler would love that belief and is probably laughing his butt off somewhere in South America reading this.
Hitler’s reign of lies and deceit carried on with his escape to South America along with many other high ranking German officials. Through Operation Odessa, the Vatican gave the Nazis sanctuary and helped the Nazis plan their escape routes. And there are still many Germans who continue to believe that they are superior to the rest of the world and believe in a master race and Aryan superiority that existed long before Hitler came to power.

Dachau was the first Concentration Camp and was built the same year Hitler climbed to power as Chancellor.
