Normal channel erosion alone, however, cannot explain the many kilometers that separate its rims. The strongest explanation holds that the major factor in the widening of the canyon has been activity from tributary drainage systems — the side streams, rivulets, and gullies outside the main river channel. The greatest erosive force in these tributaries is the fast-moving landslide called a debris flow.

But I can tell you that Jesus would have returned in 1888 if the people of God were ready. In the 1840′s people around the world thought Jesus would return. But they had misunderstood the relationship between the sanctuary in heaven and the sanctuary on earth.God had alot to show His people in studying the Sanctuary of the Old Testament

@Cheshie This video “tells” you how it happened versus offering a competing theory as those “assholes” who call themselves creationists do. Do you realize how many theories there are which differ on how it was formed? the facts are still despite this video, catastrophic accounting explains the sea creatures, speed in which it was created, the oppposing dirctions of erosion, the uphill erosion problem, the new lava flow being dated older than the oldest layer, the 900 cubic miles missing . .
Plate tectonics have huge issues like, how did they get the energy to move themselves. NO good explanations are out there except a water layer collapsed and heated faults which broke the plates in the right way causing a quick slide and then coming to a stop as they now have, some having dove down under each other and others ramming into each other.
