What is a great campground that accommodates 30 foot camper trailers in Maine, preferably on the ocean (if not, definitely on a lake)? Something like Hermit Island, but allows RVs.
Thanks!

Note that a thirty foot camper is a lot shorter than most motor homes, so some of you other RVers may have some experience with this.

There is one about 10 miles before you get to Hermit Island that accommodates RVs. It however is not on the water. You still have to drive 10 minutes or so to get to the ocean.
We usually camp at Hermit Island every year but this summer we had a puppy and as Hermit Island no longer allows pets we stayed at Meadowbrook campground. It was OK (no Hermit Island though).
