Have you taken I-95 from New England into Florida?

Mapquest is suggesting several criss-crossing routes. Also, any insights on tolls, cheap gas, hotels/campgrounds, and dining along the way would be helpful. Is there anything else we should take into consideration for this trip?
Join AAA. You can join by going to AAA.com. I do the plus membership and that way you do not need to worry if you end up needing to be towed up to 100 miles.
I love it. Do trip tix and they map out your travels. They put in notes where construction delays are planned. You can pick up all books and info at a AAA location or they will mail them to you. If you get stopped for speeding your card is a bond card. Most everyone gives a AAA discount at hotels and campgrounds.
I do not think you can take I95 straight through but it gets you through a majority of your travels.
This routing will add 102 miles onto your trip which I think will be quickly negated because this routing has no tolls , nor big city/ metroplex traffic to deal with. In addition this routing is really naturally scenic and it is loaded w/ Civil War history . If you opt to use Skyline Drive thru Shenandoah National Park for a portion of your trip, I think that it will be well worth your time.
I-81 W >I-66 E
1 exit to Front Royal VA> South on Skyline to I- 64 W to I-81 S
Options : Go east to Charlottesville & Monticello
or west to Staunton VA which is Woodrow Wilson’s birthplace and a very well preserved ante-bellum town-especially for the Appalachians
To do this routing :
Mapquest Providence> Harrisburg> Charlotte NC > Jacksonville
or If you are going down to Naples just take I-81S to I-75 S
