Good place to camp in Tennessee without designated camping areas?

I am looking for a place that has great scenery with mountain view. But the only places I can find that offer backcountry camping have designated camping spots. I want to camp where i will not see anyone else.

    Hi There,
I understand your desire for solitude on the trail, but designated campsites exist for a reason. The main one is to minimize impact on the forest. Unfortunately, but most people lack the skills and training necessary to camp properly without causing impact. On state and federal lands, designated sites often offer means to properly dispose of waste water, storage facilities for food, latrines, and usually fire rings. In some cases, tent platforms may also exist if the area is a sensitive alpine environment. Many designated campsites are available at little or no cost, and except in the highest traffic areas, are rarely crowded. If everyone was just allowed to camp wherever they wanted, dispose of their refuse however they wish to, and not take the proper procedures to secure their food, the forest would be a mess and we would have a larger "problem" with bears than we already have.

If you wish to learn how to camp without causing impact as well as valuable skills about planning for trips that do not involve designated sites, I suggest you look into taking a Leave-No-Trace course offered by a local hiking club or land agency.
