CAMPING IN NEW YORK STATE!?

PLEASE HELP!!! I am looking for a campgrounds in New York State that is NOT family orientated. The group of friends that I travel with every year tend to be a little loud at night and we do not want to disrupt other peoples vacations. If you know of anywhere we can go PLEASE HELP!!! I have had such a difficult time finding a place like this, but I know that one has to exist. Thanks in advance!

    forget the actual campgrounds…nys has plenty of places where you can camp for free whether its a short hike in or a canoe paddle in..here are some ideas:

    blue mountain lake — paddle about a 1/2 hour to an island that you’ll have to yourself

    tupper lake–same thing as blue mountain’

    moose river plains–drive up campsites in the old forge area

    terrel pond lean to– short hike to a backcountry lake with a lean-to on it..

    8th lake —probably the easiest paddle to get to a lean-to on a lake

    look up these spots and see what you think
