    Okay, getting that close is stupid and dangerous. People need to get educated on how to behave around brown bears. Brooks camp is well run, some never listen.

    i wen to katmai brooks camp last summer and it was really fun seeing like about 100 bears in 5 days

    I take offense to your comment. If you have ever been to Brooks Camp then you would know that this video is being filmed from the viewing platform which is the only safe place to be when the bears get that close and the bridge is subsequently closed. Visitors are educated to remain on the platform (with the PARK RANGER) when bears get that close. If I was on the ground with the bears & trying to cross the bridge while the bears were in close proximity, now that would be stupid and dangerous!
