Me and some buddies want to go camping for a night, but we don’t want to go to an actual campground. We could go anywhere near Chicago or even a little into Wisconsin, so are there any places that you can camp at around there without being a campground? Parking is an issue too. Thanks for the help.
We are going camping Yosemite for 9 days. We will have a stove and we already have the typical meals planned like chilli, hot dogs, bacon & eggs, sandwiches and stuff like that but we need more since we will be eating 9 breakfasts, 9 lunches, and 8 dinners. We also have to keep in mind of the quantity of stuff we bring since all of our food have to fit in the bear lockers provided. Please help with some good easy recipes.
my boyfriend and i are gonna be driving around california for maybe a month or two and we need to be able to stay at free campgrounds… does anyone know a website with a list of free campgrounds? so we could just pitch a tent and not be bothered..

Any advice about camping with the 2. We are tent camping with a few tents and they will be sleeping in their own pack n plays in a cabin tent with me. I have a summerguard gate for toddler to play in without wandering. But what other stuff could I get to make life easier. Everything including things helpful for feeding, changing, just overall making it more comfortable. Planning on it being a great time but I like to be prepared. There will be lots of room on the sites, a beach, playground, snack bars and bathrooms etc., this is not extreme camping I’m talking about.
Where can I go in say Colorado, Montana or Wyoming that would be fun for my wife and 7 year old daughter? She likes to camp. We’ll go fishing and etc.
I guess it would be nice if there were other kids around. But whatever would be fun. This is a first for us so…
We are planning a trip to go hiking, fishing, camping, maybe horseback riding. We live in North Florida. Any good ideas for a weekend trip? Blue ridge mountains? We don’t want to spend much money so how would we go about this? Any free camping shelters or lodges or very cheap lodges.
Any specific hiking trails we can follow that have good shelters? We are not experienced hikers, but we are young and have done much hiking before. Please give us info on any sites to direct us to equipment, techniques, lodging/shelters/hostels/ and trails we can do.
Thanks!!
i really prefer fresh foods over dehydrated or food that doesn’t need refrigeration. something that can be kept in a small cooler with a block of ice for a couple days and hold up.
